Bachelor of Pharmacy

The B Pharm degree is all about life-saving drugs and the process that starts with its manufacturing, carries on with its sale and trial, and concludes with the usage of the same. Duration

It is not like any other bachelor's degree. B Pharma takes approximately 4 years to complete. It can be divided into 8 semesters. You will be undertaking an internship in your third year which will prepare you to deal with the real world.

You will develop the useful skills to diagnose and treat a disease with the right selection of drugs. Your other core functions will include monitoring the improvement of a patient. 

Duration

Usually, a doctorate degree like MBBS is 5 years long. But Pharm D is a 6-year-long degree programme where you will be learning core competencies of the pharmacy in the two initial years. The following four years will go into understanding and grasping the basics of a clinical setup.

Eligibility

It is no different than the Bachelor of Pharmacy. Here also you have to have either 45% marks in your class 12th or pass the entrance exam set by the educational institution in question. The must-have-passed subjects are also Physics and Chemistry with a choice between Biology and Mathematics.
